Mount speakers along the length of your tube speaker
4” Pod
Pods allow you to mount speakers of various sizes along the length of a tube.
Pods have a flat surface with nut inserts that give a strong mounting surface for the speaker. A curved face mounts to the surface of the tube with 4 x #8 sheet metal screws. Allows the freedom to mount a speaker at any angle with respect to the center line of the tube.
Speaker magnet clearance must be machined or cut into the tube to provide speaker magnet clearance. This is easily done with a hole saw.
Pods provide a strong and secure mount and includes mounting hardware.
6x9” Pod
Pods are available to mount to all three tube diameters (4, 6 and 8 inch).
Pods allow you to mount a speaker that is the generally the diameter of the tube or smaller.
For example:
4 inch tube can mount pods that fit : Tweeters, 3”, 3.5” and 4” speakers
6 inch tube can mount pods that fit : Tweeters, 3”, 3.5” and 4”, 5.25” and 6.5” speakers
8 inch tube can mount pods that fit : Tweeters, 3”, 3.5” and 4”, 5.25”, 6.5” and 8” speakers
